Shinshu Roberts is co-leader of Ocean Gate Zen Center in Capitola/Santa Cruz with her partner Daijaku Kinst, a Soto Zen priest in the lineage of Shunryu Suzuki-Roshi. A Dharma heir of Sojun Mel Weitsman, Roberts began her practice at the San Francisco Zen Center in 1986. I wish to thank Shinshu Roberts for taking the time to participate in this interview.
